The fingerboard is very similar to mine, and it never ceases to generate comments at any gig. If, by any chance, you have some sample sound files, I would really love to hear this instrument.
Man - that bubinga top is gorgeous! |

VroomVroom, I plan to get some sound clips up, but probably not sooner than by the end of October. I haven't had much time alone with it yet, but the tone is wonderfully "chewy" for lack of better words...plenty of meaty low mids, just want I wanted! It has a very organic (woody) quality as well... AHHH I want to go play it now! |

Can't say which I like the most but the Audere does give those 3 distinct voices which I love for groovin!!!

| | | | Hello, improvpwnd. From one new first-time Roscoe owner to another: congratulations!
Thanks for posting this second set of photos. For me, the first and last ones here start to tell the story of what a beautiful bass you have.
May you play it for many happy years.
Regards,
Snaxster |

The pics were taken on a camera with a broken LCD so I had to use the view-finder with no immediate preview of my pics! As soon as I get a new camera (Christmas maybe?) I will post more! Quote:

The engineer liked LOW-Z mode best, so that's what I used straight through a Countryman DI. I will make some sound clips of my own soon--utilizing all Z modes and pickup balancing.
I love everything little thing about it--I am going to experiment with string gauges and add an ebony ramp in the coming months as well. |

Definitely fun looking through this thread again - you've got an absolutely stunning instrument! The top - and those wicked looking pickups - mated with that fingerboard...just wow. |
