Definitely fun looking through this thread again - you've got an absolutely stunning instrument! The top - and those wicked looking pickups - mated with that fingerboard...just wow.
Thanks! We will be at the same place, Temple Bar at Turk and Polk on Friday, if you want to see, hear, and play it person! We play 8-10 and it's free!

No, his hands always look like that. It's a condition...we don't talk about it

That ramp looks great! Man, I've just got to hear you play this beauty. I wish I could make it on Friday - I've got a gig down in San Jose - but if we could connect via PM, I'd love to come hear you play sometime.

Beautiful bass!

Thanks! It was done by Geoff at SF GuitarWorks--high quality work! We won't be back at Temple bar until next Friday, the 27th... I received tickets to see Richard Bona at Yoshi's this Friday instead ! I'll be at the GTG this Sunday, though.

I'm still trying to find a way to see Richard Bona, either @ Yoshi's or down in Santa Cruz...it's killin' me! The g2g was always kind of a 'maybe' for me, and sure enough I've got a rehearsal for an upcoming recording session. Business comes first, right? Anyway, have a blast, and here's hoping I get to see and hear this gorgeous instrument soon!

Nice ramp. Does he want to make a couple more for my sixers?

I think this might not be possible, unless he had your specific basses. Since a Roscoe is hand made, its measurements are not always (probably never) equal--like the space between your pickups, shape of the surface of the body, etc. But who knows, he might be able to approximate if you sent him dimensions...
