My first Roscoe #4761

After making its way through the hands of several TB listers, I was lucky enough to become the new owner of this lovely LG-3005. This is my first Roscoe.

Swamp Ash/Spalted Maple
Purpleheart board (previous owners said so, but I'm not sure. I don't think Roscoe has records on serial# this old.)
Bart/Aguilar OBP-3

She needs new strings badly, but already sounds amazing. I'm an SIT fan, but the regular length don't quite fit, so I ordered the longer scale Rock Brights, waiting for those to come in. I plan to hang on this beauty indefinitely.
HIGH FIVE!

Actually...

...go have the original invoice on this one!

LG 3005
Spalted Maple top
Swamp Ash body
Natural finish
Aguilar OBP-3 preamp
Bartolini/Roscoe pickups
Spalted Purpleheart fingerboard
Graphite nut

It was completed in October of 2002, and the original dealer was Bass Northwest in Seattle, WA.

Nice top...

Thanks guys, and thank you Gard for digging up the details for me. I can't wait to test drive this thing in a band setting.

That is a beautiful bass! With those woods and electronics, I bet it's a sonic demon too. Congratulations!

That is such a classy bass! Spalted Purpleheart fingerboards really are the business!

But seriously, dude... Do you really think you'll get away with only taking one pic of it?

Welcome aboard! I'm sure you'll enjoy it here... Unless you're a Bud Light drinker

I can attest to Gard and Ryan (RTL) being nice to the "slow kids" although I'm not one . BUT I play one on TB!

Short Bus Crew United!!!!

Right.

Just goes to show you that owning a Roscoe can make pretty much anyone socially acceptable!

(Ryan, Greg... You know I love you guys, right?)

I'm a fanatical homebrewer actually. Bud Light has it's place, but in my hand is not it.

I need to find the camera to get some more pics of it, but until then, I did snag the pics and specs from the previous sales ads and posted them here: http://jaxwell.com/guitar/roscoe/

I think I might like this newbie! I just purchased a 12 pack of Otter Creek Copper Ale, Harpoon IPA and for giggles a 12 of Heineken Keg cans for our annual band 4th of July block party.

Playing music on a warm summer night, Roscoe in hand with micro-brews, yeah...............life is good.

Oh yeah, cool bass mon, welcome to the demented world of Roscoe-Headom.
