My kid playing my Roscoe fretless

My kids play bass and guitar in the middle school instrumental band. For this particular performance, my 11 year old decided he REALLY wanted to use my Roscoe fretless. He's a little hard to hear in the mix, but he's holding it down pretty well. Well enough that he's getting a Squire fretless for Christmas.

I think you got a bad link. My 'net is acting up so it may be me. Can't wait to see it though.

God Bless, Ray

Cool video. Great to see budding talent like that, and schools still supporting music.

Good job man. The drummer reminds me of Thin Lizzy.

God Bless, Ray

They evidently didn't see the sign:

Awesome stuff. I have my son's first middle school concert next Thursday night. He's on percussion though so no borrowing dad's axes.

My youngest son just cut his first track. 7 years old, 3-4 weeks on the piano, and now he's got session work It's fun being a proud papa, eh?

Super job on Stairway by those young cats! We run lessons at our store, and it's amazing to me how the kids today are learning pretty much the same songs I started on. AC/DC, Zeppelin, Cream, Stones, etc. It's kinda cool on the one hand, but also kinda sad on the other. Who's gonna be the Led Zeppelin for this generation? P-diddy? Keith Urban? Kanye? I don't think so. Somebody give me some hope and name a quality band that's writing enough good material that will endure and be worthy of a radio "Rock Block" 20 years hence.

Lovin' it! Excellent stuff all around - great to see the next generation of cats killin' it on the same tune I learned at that age. Thanks for sharing this, and kudos to your son. (And to his Dad for encouragement as well as sharing one badass bass.)

It's that thing in your car underneath the nav system. It picks up satellite broadcasts from SiriusXM and Pandora.

He would also say it's a badass bass if he thought he could get away with the language. . I only let him read out the name on his P-Bass bridge ONCE.
