My twins - 5482 & 4123

I expect most of you have seen these before. I went on a Roscoe spree this last couple of months. Six strings and especially these two really feel like home to me now. I'm still getting used to the fretless without lines but I'll get there.

I always love when the wife has to explain the red headed twin. Honestly, those basses are beautiful!

Great collection Steve! You've done us all mighty proud!!

Now, to the details.....what preamps are in all of these basses? And how long do you think it will be before you start looking at Nordstrand pickups!!??

Bart/Bart for both basses.

Yes, I am interested in what the Nord and Audere do for the bass in comparison to the Bart/Bart. It would be good to have a better slap tone available on the fretted bass but no rush for that.

Still looking at driving past Greenboro in 2009 so that might be the time to get an upgrade.

Hey Steve - great pair you've landed! My bass has the nordstrands, but with a spanish cedar body and the Audere pre. If you ever want to try it out I'm sure it would not be difficult for us to meet up.

Sounds like a great idea. Although not too soon. I can't afford to like it too much.

Steve, welcome to the family!

Definitely looking forward to your visit...and yeah, avoid Jeff's bass for a while if you don't want to burn a hole in your credit card...
