LG-3000 Spalted Maple So I just finalized a 2 for 1 trade with a fellow TB'er. My Fender Am.Dlx.P & Ibanez Iceman for his LG-3000. I have never owned a Roscoe, so it took a little bit of researching... but I am EXCITED!!!!! Here are a few pix that were sent to me by the former owner.
Both he and I shipped this morning via UPS, and delivery should occur Thursday... anybody care to chime in and let me know what I'm in for?

Right up front, you won't get the same kinds of chicks that you landed with that Iceman. Just a fact of life, I'm afraid.
Seriously - I expect you'll be very, very happy. Nothing feels or plays like a Roscoe. Sonically, it depends a bit on the body wood, but you can expect lots of punch, ample low end, and highs that are full and crisp, but never thin. |

As Gard has said this bass was absolutely gorgeous...my favorite from a look standpoint...and ive owned/seen a few..Never got out of my home so cant really compare to others ive played live but should def. be enjoyable...check on the electronics Im not 100 percent but think he may have changed them.
enjoy!
edit: sorry this moved hands after i traded this away and my comments are not directed at bertbassplayer...the electronics were changed by the guy I sent it to.

enjoy! | The previous owner told me the electronics were Aguilar, so somewhere along the way they must have been changed. Anyone know who or when the work was done on the guts?
