New to the (dysfunctional) Roscoe family.

I recently received this TPB Limited edition LG 3005 in a trade and have fallen head over heels in love with it so I figured I would come by the Roscoe forum and do my best to annoy you with pictures of a bass I am sure you have seen before.

Serial is TPB 010

If the following is incorrect Gard can fix it.

1 piece Swamp Ash body
Brazilian Rosewood board
Cherry burst over enhanced grain
Aguilar OBP-3 Pre
Roscoe spec Barts
A hair over 7 lbs
Monster B string.

Congrats from a fellow TPB edition owner.
I have a natural finish one (006) and had forgotten that all the rest of them had caps on the headstock. Very cool.
These are great playing instruments!

I'm not too good at this so I'll see if I can get it to work. I don't have many pics here. I believe the shot of my bass is from TPB. The other was taken of the whole group at the Roscoe shop, if I'm not mistaken.

Eureka!
In that shot of the whole group, mine is the second one back in the righthand rack. I believe yours is the furthest one down in the same rack.

Two very nice basses guys (love the grain on both of them) and welcome to the family Aspidites!

However we are a very functional family.
All you have to do is....

Keep your ball ends aligned.....

Pose for pictures in a Roscoe T-shirt.....

Watch "The Big Lebowski" and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", and be prepared to discuss and quote at any time....

A fondness for black hardware is preferred but not required.....

Oh, and if you have a new bass on order it helps to use "Who Dat" and 'NOLA" in your posts. (Black and Gold in yor avatar couldn't hurt either).....

There are other things to do but we won't know those until someone makes them up.

Totally, totally functional.

...you left off "Office Space" and "The Princess Bride"!!!

...s'cuse me, need to sneak into Jerry's (Vroom Vroom) practice room and misalign all the ball ends on his strings...

Oh, and drinking an Abita Turbo Dog while yelling "WHODAT!" gets you bonus Roscoe points....

...welcome to the family, such as it is, Aspidites!

Dude. Don't touch the ball ends. They tie the whole bass together.

Welcome to a fellow bay area Roscoehead! That's a gorgeous bass, and with those specs I can only imagine how good it must sound.

Too late.

Those were some good sounding basses man, I really dug them, they had their own vibe, different from the Standards (purpleheart neck center, Roscoe Bart pickups), but different from the Customs (very thin satin finishes), plus they really look great to me.

I have only seen one of the two so I guess I have some movie watching to do.

I have some of that.

I work for a beer magazine. My job is to run all of our events and judgings, pick the beers and then review them for the magazine. We help put on San Francisco beer week and the final event each year of which all of the proceeds go to charity.

You are welcome to come to the Beer fest as a VIP guest and pour beer at any booth you want. Any other Roscoe Heads are also welcome.

I'm in! Gard, we can crash in San Mateo. I know a bass player there that can get us the Tom Brady "Behind the Scenes" tour of where he grew up, etc.. He's also not too shabby on the bass.
