New to the forum

Hello Roscoe world,
I have been following the threads for years and have just decided to try my hand at this. I have owned and played this bass for over 12 yrs. I would like to know what kind of wood and fretboard do I have? Also about how old is it? I will now try to upload some pictures, wish me luck! Also the number on the back of the headstock is 3244 if that helps. Any feedback will greatly be appreciated.

Just a guess, but it looks like Koa over Ash with Cocobolo on the fretboard.

Beautiful bass!

Beautiful bass!
MAY be Brazilian Rosewood, but difficult to tell from the photos - cocobolo will get very "brown" over time and the two can be very similar in appearance sometimes. I'd have to be face-to-face to know for sure.

Age: Mid to late 90's, say 1996-1998

Welcome to the TB/Roscoehead family!

Thumbs up

Welcome the Roscoe forum! Nice looking Roscoe and it appears that you've gotten most of your answers on your bass.
