New to me Roscoe...

Wanted to post a pic of the new to me Roscoe I picked up from a fellow TB'er... with good advice and a helping nudge from VroomVroom. Her specs... 2010 Roscoe SKB 3005, exhibition quilt top, wenge tone plate, ash body, deep amber finish, maple/purple heart neck with wenge fingerboard, Bart pick ups. My phone camera doesn't do her justice! Have to say it's pretty dang cool when you finally get the bass of your dreams in your hands. Tone and playability are what I've heard here all along. Off. The. Chart. Thanks for the help, all... and glad to join the ranks of the Roscoe Heads.

Outstanding! I'm so glad to hear you're happy with it. That is an absolutely stunning bass...congratulations. And...as I'm typing, I'm also shedding my myrtle Roscoe...it's impossible to be anything but happy when you're playing a Roscoe.

Man o Man, I am smitten on that bass. Congrats, and I am glad Christmas came early to you. Love the body / neck combo. I hope you enjoy playing it as much as viewing it.

Roscoe + Genz Benz = Bliss

Good Stuff

Thumbs up

Congrat's Kirk! Awesome looking Roscoe! I love the look of the shim between the top and body.

Sounds like a Merry Christmas for you for sure!

Kirk, welcome to the family!

I got your e-mail, and will be replying to it next week! If you have any questions you need answered sooner, please hit me with a PM here at TB, as I don't really have easy access to my work mail at home, and will be out until Tuesday.

I remember that one, it's a beauty, and it sounds fantastic.

Thanks, everyone! The Streamliner and the Roscoe are a great combination. One of the bands I play in has keys, two guitars, drums and a sax... I'm running the two through a Schroeder 1212R there... Man. Articulate and clear, but still has that great P-style solid foundation. And Gard, no rush at all on answering my email... Enjoy the holiday and thanks again for the warm welcome. Merry Christmas.....
