Custom LG 3005

Alder body( black gold finish)
Quilted maple top( black gold finish)
Pau ferro board
30 inch scale( I have grown to love short scale. Theres definitely a give take but its worth it to me)
16.5 mm spacing
Bartolini Jazz pickups (60s spacing)
Bartolini pre

I guess that I should have looked there first!

Cool! I know that you've put a lot of thought into the spec's Keith (and played a lot of Roscoe's with various wood combo's).
I can't wait to see how this one sounds and plays.

Thanks Joe! I have put A LOT of thought/time/ and money into my decision. But I think I'm going to be very happy with this bass, so it's worth it.

Wow, just saw this thread. I was out of town / country when you posted (poor me, had to suffer the blizzard of 2013 in St. Kitts & Nevis!). Anyhoo - great looking quilt Maple. I look forward to your progress.

Just noticed the black gold finish. I missed it the first time around.
That should look awesome with that top!

I'm typically not much on tinting tops but that Roscoe finish is just off the charts!

Bigslapper- sounds like you were really suffering down there!

Joe- I've always loved the black gold. Used to drool over the ones on the bass central page. Gard reminded of it when I was at the shop and I had to have it.

Joel- Agreed! I definitely want to check out your jmm lg as well. And Joe's new six string.

Black gold is killer. Should be an outstanding bass. But then again it's a Roscoe so why would you expect anything less.
