I sent an email to the Roscoe folks to get the pedigree on this bad boy but I am thinking that the body is mahogany and the top is buckeye... I really am having a great time with this bass. If the 5 strings came standard in a 34" scale I would grab one but this will have to suffice (and it's certainly not like I am missing out) for now.
Here's a pic...I'll post more info when I get it.
The picture is dark...the top has so much life to it in person!

Glad you're diggin the LG3K... the LEJ is making me smile too... of course I've not givin up my membership to the Roscoe club.
You know what's funny, I put the Nordy Big Singles in this one and it didn't sound as good as they did in yours.
Cheers,

The upcharge is $350 for the 34" scale 3005
Here's a thread with some details about the 34" scale option: 34" scale???
I played a 34" scale Roscoe and I honestly couldn't hear a difference (from a 35" scale). Still a great low B. |

I broke my left wrist (compound fracture) when I was in high school and that extra inch reach while playing in first position really fatigues my fretting hand almost immediately.
$350 is HIGH...yikes! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
