new roscoe guy here

gard told me i had to post, so...

just picked up a roscoe in trade from tcube - the first roscoe that i've actually owned, and it's working out great so far...it's good to know first-hand what all of the buzz is about over here...i've played a few and heard several, but i've always gone in a different direction...the opportunity came along, and it felt right, so i took it, and i'm glad i did! you guys are all about the serial numbers, so the one i picked up is 5721 with a cedar body, burled myrtle top and a cocobolo board...neck is standard maple/purpleheart...elex are bart/bart...sounds great through the markbass/genz rig i've been using for a couple years now, and i couldn't be more satisfied...i will be using it to record the follow-up album to my band's debut cd, and i think it will fit great with our sound...for anyone that is interested, check the link in my sig line...thanks guys!

Thumbs up

Awesome looking Roscoe! I lusted over that one several times while it was up for sale. It has my favorite wood combo's too!

Great find! Welcome to the Roscoehead club!

Hey! I used to live in St. Marys! Early 80's when my Dad was stationed there at the sub base. Small world.

Oh, and super looking Roscoe, too! Congrats!

If you were female, you'd be the perfect woman.

...well, except that whole Patsies fetish, and that desire to have Tommy Bwady's love child...but otherwise...

That's Biccum's homo-erotic obsession you're referring to there...

Watch it Gard, you are outnumbered here with you anti- Patriots rantings (right Pacman, and Bill?).

Oh yeah Neptoon, nice bass. I won't ask and you don't have to tell me how awesome it is to play the LG.

Welcome to the Loony Bin

Well I couldn't imagine that was too tough of a decision!

All jokes aside, glad to hear that it's working out for you.
