New Roscoe Website Stuff

Hey everyone, Clint and I have been updating and adding a few things to the "official" Roscoe site, thought it might be a good idea to point it out to everyone here (there will be more new things in a couple of weeks, keep watching here!):

There are now pages for both new and available tops, and a page for basses that are complete and "looking for a home":

Click here for the tops pages (click on each date for 10 new photos)

Click here for the available basses page (click on each bass for the specs)

The tops page was dangerously gas causing.

The available basses, devilish!

How does the available basses work?
If someone is interested, do you get them in contact with the dealer, or do you send it to their nearest dealer, or something else maybe?

I think I am safe in saying if you see a bass you can't live with out you can contact your favorite Roscoe Dealer to place your order. You can look on the Roscoe Dealer page to find a dealer who would love to put a new Roscoe into your hands.

"A bass that you can't live with" ........You go Clint!
It's a amazing what happens when you leave one word out!

Cool addition to the Roscoe web site! I can usually handle the raw wood pic's, but when you guys post the completed pic's ....... I have serious issues!

Bill, Clint is correct, contact your local Roscoe dealer if you're interested in one - for you that'd be Poptart over in the UK (he's got you in his "territory").

Clint, Joe's right, one word can truly make a difference...

Joe, hey man, you think it's bad looking at the photos, try being in the same room with that solid Spanish cedar CSV! That thing is making me crazy....someone PLEASE buy it!

I see, so, am I right in saying, you guys are actually making some just to keep in your shop, basically having some stock that anyone can buy straight away, without it being in the "wrong" territory?

Oh well, my bad. Maybe in my deep psyche I am hoping no will will buy them and by some great luck I will win the lottery and take them all.

Like I said in the past, if I were to hit the lottery there would surely be a shortage of Roscoe basses on the market. I would have no problem dropping $100,000 in basses. Then Data and I would open a bass shop and become the Triangle's Roscoe dealership. Hey, if I am going to dream I might as well dream big.

There really shouldn't be a "wrong" territory. An agreement b/w dealers should take care of anyone. Of course, the stocking dealer should get a larger share as a reward for having the foresight of stocking the particular instrument. It would be a win/win for everyone (except the local guy that's been dragging his feet on a purchase).

Within the US, there isn't, but in the case of Bill, there IS. New Roscoe sales are protected for international dealers, and there is a dealer that is the "official" representative for the UK and Ireland, so for a new bass, he must go there.

In the US, it's not an issue.

I understand the int'l agreements but couldn't the int'l dealer contact a US dealer and say that he has a customer interested in a particular instrument. Then the dealers could work out the deal b/w them. I'm just sayin' . . .

Absolutely, not only encouraged, but it has been "brokered" a few times via myself.

Very happy to accommodate anyone in that situation!

Its very cool too, you guys make sure each customer gets exactly the bass they want.

It is real nice to have some ready that can go in any direction, though, another very cool thing.
