Saturday Games:
NY Jets @ Cincinnati - Cincy looked AWFUL, just bad. Jets defense looked pretty darn good. I could be getting suckered here, but I think that the Jets defense is for real. Jets 24 Cincy 13
Philadelphia @ Dallas - Dallas thinks they are great. They're good. Philadelphia played poorly last week, lots of mistakes offensively, and are probably pretty ticked off about it. This will not be a shutout, nor will it be a blowout. It will be pretty close this time, and Jerry Jones may not be very happy at the end of it. Philly 24 Dallas 20
Sunday Games:
Baltimore @ New England - NE is bleeding, no Welker takes away a major offensive threat, and lets the Ravens double Moss with impunity. Which they will do. Brady has a broken finger on his passing hand and sore ribs, which cannot be a very positive thing for a QB. Baltimore is running the ball well, they won't bury anyone this week, but it will be enough. Baltimore 20 New England 17
Green Bay @ Arizona - Arizona didn't play all out, and they paid a price, looks bad for Rogers-Cromartie and Boldin. Even if they play, they are dinged and won't be at 100%. That said, this won't be a cakewalk for GB either. They still have a suspect offensive line (which made that mulleted moron in Minnesota look like a giant this year....), but their defense is pretty impressive. Close one, one home team wins this weekend. GB 24 AZ 31

I can't stand the cowqueens and they're America's Team mantra, hell, I'm still amazed they put enough game together to make it this far. It'll take a team like the Bolts to hand them another butt whipping.. |

Philly @ Dallas: Philly is coming back with a vengeance, I hope. Philly 23 Jerry's World 13.
Baltimore @ NE: Even though they're hurt, a lot, I think NE will still pull it out. NE 24 Baltimore 17.
GB @ AZ: Eh who cares... |

I've been very critical of Wade Phillips but his recent coaching has been very good.
I don't know if Dallas is good or great. I know that they finished their season with 3 wins. One was against the undefeated aints. Another was a shutout against a tough divisional opponent, on the road. The last was a shutout against a very good team that humiliated Dallas to end last season and was playing for the 2nd seed in the playoffs, (which according to TURD's own admission, given how much he celebrates the aits seeding, is very important). In those games the offense has played effeciently and minimized mistakes. I've already mentioned the two shutouts by the defense. Those are facts. They're not opinions. They're simply what's happened recently. Does this make Dallas good? Does it make them great? I have no idea.
Perhaps you were referring to a different team. I'll correct your quote: Quote:

If they do, the defense will control Rice enough and Flacco won't beat them. The Pats Offense will struggle, but I think they will come up with enough plays to win. Watch for Watson, Edelman and Faulk to make up for Welker as best they can. I think (hope since I'll be there) the Pats will control the game but narrowly win, Brady and Belichick are 10-0 at home in the playoffs but after this week if they make it out alive, the will not survive SD. 20-16 Pats.
Philly-Dallas I expect a Big D collapse, it's poised perfectly for it with everyone including Tedy Bruschi calling them a Super bowl Team. Eagles 33-31 over D.
Jets-Bengals in the "who cares?" game Jets I suppose 23-16. Anyone besides Rex Ryan really think either of these teams are SB bound?
AZ-GB I think will be the game of the weekend. Everyone's on the GB bandwagon so I'll take AZ on a late TD 39-34.

1. Cincy benched Cedric Benson last game. I think they'll play better this time around. The teams that knew they were in did'nt really have to play as hard. A lot of this is hitting home now. Everyone must play.
2. Good choice. It's not often a team will beat a team the same way twice. On top of that this one counts for a lot.
3. I do believe Moss has some type of injury but has participated in practice. I hope they give us a good game. I think Brady will still throw for quite a few yards despite his injuries. He has to. Will it be enough? Against Baltimore I think it might.
4. Tough one. IMO I think Green Bay takes it ,but not by much. And I hate saying that. I'd rather see AZ win.
And for the last time regarding your post in week 17 I AM NOT A BUC's FAN!!! Yes, I like the Bears but I only watch the Buc's and hope they win because I live close to Tampa and have to watch all of their crappy televised games. Besides that every team in FL sucks anyway. I could'nt live with myself hoping upon hope for any of them.

All hail the Blue Teletubby!
Desean "Fatmouthing" and Donovan dancing around like an idjut coming down the tunnel didn't help 'em any.
Andy Reid got handed his first wildcard L.
Tubby got his first postseason W.
Next up for the 'Boys "The Purple Queens". Hopefully they'll hand the Chilly/Farvuh duo another "first L" at the Casa de A.P. The Mulleted one will have to try and get past Flozell Adams, which we all know Flo'll kick him if need be The Queens young receivers should match well with D's young secondary. A.P. I still say is a fantastic back and he presents the most threat of all the Vikings, but Chilly being a Farvuh bunghole sniffer, A.P. may not be a Factor. And I say if the Ratliff/Ware/Spencer trio plasters the "Country Dumbkin" he'll have a helluva sendoff to the old folks home down in Mis'sippi
This one'll be tougher but I still like our chances
God Bless, Ray

| Wow, now THAT was a game. Very entertaining, and kudos to the Pack for fighting back in it, even though they came up short. +1
Not too bad, 3-1, for a .750 record. Let's see if we can keep it going!

Not because the CowGurllz were too hot to handle, but because the Eagles just flat out sucked. They really never got started at all in that game. These are typically the types of games I don't enjoy, all one sided without any hope of actually becoming a contest. It's like watching Godzilla against a team of Senile Blue Hairs in a bingo hall... |

Ended up watching "The Road To Perdition" instead, better use of my time.
Now, that GB @ AZ game, that was one to watch!

Start scrambling now for your remarks on how Dallas has no chance against the Queens and then the Saints to all the Haters!

I almost stopped watching in the first quarter seeing as how Arizona was scoring so easily but I'm glad I kept watching. It turned into a CONTEST with a somewhat surprising outcome. I'm glad I've hung onto my never inflated, Curt Warner signed, Arena Football. Maybe it'll actually be worth something someday.... | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
