Oakland @ Buffalo - Buffalo is living up to their promise (but in a division with NE and the Jets...), Oakland is better than they were last year. Still, better team, at home: Raiders 17 Bills 31

Green Bay @ Carolina - CAM NEWTON CAM NEWTON CAM NEWTON!!!! ...can of spam by the end of the first quarter on Sunday. This one won't even be close: Packers 38 Panthers 13

Kansas City @ Detroit - KC got pantsed by the Bills. Lions get the drawers too. Chiefs 10 Lions 27

Cleveland @ Indianapolis - Can one player make a team? Yes. Browns bounce back against Manning-less Colts. Browns 31 Colts 17

Tampa Bay @ Minnesota - Reopening the Metrodome!!! That will help 'em, but not enough, Bucs bounce back from last week, and the Vikes are just not gonna be a threat again this year... Bucs 24 Vikes 20

Jacksonville @ NY Jets - Mediocre versus just above mediocre? Home team wins. Jags 13 Jets 23

Seattle @ Pittsburgh - I would not want to play the Steelers this week. Not even if I were the Packers. Nope. No sir. No way. No how. No thanks. Seattle continues to circle the drain. Seaturkeys 10 Steelers 38

Baltimore @ Tennessee - Rebuilding year in Nashville. After this one, they may need to rebuild the team AND the stadium. Ravens 35 Titans 13

Arizona @ Washington - Two week one winners. Washington beat an actual NFL team, Arizona beat the Panthers. Cards 17 Redskins 27

Dallas @ San Francisco - What can Romo do to screw up this week? Who knows, but you know it's coming. Must suck to be a Cowpatty fan with that clown behind center. Cowboys 13 49ers 24

Cincinnati @ Denver - Denver gets another chance in front of their home crowd. I can't figure this one out...home field 3. Bengals 17 Broncos 20

Houston @ Miami - This is actually another one I'm not getting a good bead on. Houston plastered a Manning-less Colts team that is reeling, so how much of that was real is unknown. Miami played a much better NE team and held their own for a bit. Houston will (by way of the blowout against Indy) be the favorite, I'm calling an upset. Texans 24 Dolphins 27

San Diego @ New England - Closer than you might think, the Chargers actually match up well with the Pats. But not THAT well. Chargers 21 Pats 34

SNF: Philadelphia @ Atlanta - Can both teams lose? Please??? Ugh. I hate trying to pick games where I flat despise both teams, but Philly has some actual NFL talent, while Atlanta is just...well...average in a flashy package. Eagles 24 Atlanta 20

MNF: St. Louis @ NY Giants - Both teams lost games they should have either won, or been much closer to winning. Neither team is "great". Home team 3. Rams 17 Giants 20

MY GAME: Chicago @ New Orleans - Chicago whupped up on the Failcons pretty good. This ain't Atlanta, and it ain't the Aints, it's the SAINTS. In their home stadium. With coaches, players, and fans that were at the NFC Championship game in '06 and remember this kind of garbage:







And, no, it was not made up: Pathetic fans

Chargers tried to keep it close, but too many trips into the red zone that came up with no points. Recipe for a loss against any team, but against the Pats, it's a GUARANTEE of it. +1

Saints took the foot off the accelerator in the 4th Qtr on offense, just forgot to on defense, much to Jay "Sad Clown Face" Cutler's chagrin. Man, they really need to find an offensive line....wait, they already HAVE...because that pass protection was OFFENSIVE.

After the first quarter, this one was never in doubt. And, if the zebras hadn't gift wrapped a second chance for the Bears in the 1st Qtr (that roughing the passer call was so bad Bears fans in my watering hole were complaining about it...then the refs totally miss an ACTUAL personal foul penalty on the Bears on the next drive? ). Should have been 30-6 Saints...MAYBE 30-9. Loved watching Drew drop that 79 yarder over the scrambling 2-deep safeties of the Bears to Henderson, and seeing the defense just demolish the Bears passing game. I'll even concede that Sproles stepped out at the one on his TD catch. Heck, I was hoping he had, so the Saints could hand the ball to Ingram on the next play and give the rookie his first NFL TD (and my wife some more FF points).

Good game for my boys in black & gold. +1
