NFL Week 9

64-53 and rising...guess I'm starting to get a bead on who is who this season...FINALLY!

...weirdness abounds still though...

Here we go!

------------------------------------------------------------------------

NY Jets @ Detroit - If the Jets offense doesn't get its act together, this could be an embarrassing weekend for them. De3 is looking pretty good right now, and they could stun a few teams....don't think so this weekend though. It'll still be closer than the Jests fans and players will like.

Jets 24 Detroit 20

Tampa Bay @ Atlanta - Can they both lose? ...no? ...sigh, OK...Tampa is playing WAY over their heads, Atlanta is the single luckiest team in the NFL. So, luck or out of their depth? Hmm...(tosses coin)...the water is too deep!!! Upset special!!!!

Yucs 27 Foulclowns 24 (on a missed field goal, under 2 minutes left - for justice. )

San Diego @ Houston - SD on the road, Houston smarting from the whuppin' they got in Indy last night. Yeah...

Sandy Eggos 17 Texans 24

Miami @ Baltimore - Looks like a good game, both teams are playing good football, but gonna have to give the D in Baltimore the nod here.

Dolphins 17 Baltimore 20

Arizona @ Minnesota - The wheels are not just off in Mini-wanker, they're heading for the four points of the compass at flank speed. Cards lost a stinker to TB last week, take it out on a hapless and hopeless Whinequeen team this week.

Cards 24 The guys with sperms on the sides of their helmets 13

Chicago @ Buffalo - Buffalo has played two very good teams VERY tough the past few weeks, and I don't see them letting up this week. Chicago...well...yeah......Buffalo finally gets off the schnide.

Chicago 13 (that could be points or QB sacks allowed, by the way ) Buffalo 17

New England @ Cleveland - Cleveland got their big win (you're welcome, punks ), they're finished now.

Patsies 31 Steamers 10

NY Giants @ Seattle - Er...really?

Giants 35 Seaturkeys 10

Indianapolis @ Philadelphia - Vick starting? Good. Mathis and Freeney will be having repeated meetings on his face.

Indy 31 Philly 13

Kansas City @ Oakland - Who'dathunk it: Game Of The Day! Wow...I'm actually excited about this one, and hope it's televised here in NC, because I really want to watch this one!!! Should be fun. Heck, I don't CARE who wins, just want to watch some football with this one! However, someone must end up on top, right? Home team 3....

KC 24 RAY-DUHS 27

SNF: Dallas @ Green Bay - Oh. Man. This could be a bloodbath. I mean, really...Dallas should just stay home, forfeit the game...heck, they've already essentially forfeited the SEASON the way they're playing "football" in Big D. Too much for them to handle in GB, could actually be UGLIER than what Jax did to them. Matter of fact, considering that the Pack is a much better team than the Jags, it SHOULD be uglier.

Dallas 13 GB 38

MNF: Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati - It's very unfortunate that Cincy has the game after a Steelers loss. This unfortunate.

Pittsburgh 31 Cincinnati 17

MY GAME: New Orleans @ Carolina - Carolina may be the 2nd worst team in the NFL right now, and only because the Cowboys have just flat QUIT.

The Saints have been very inconsistent, they need to come out mobile, agile, and hostile in this one, set the tone early, and shut the Panters down from kickoff to final whistle. They, as a team, have already been saying this is more important than the win against Pittsburgh - they need this one, and they need to leave no doubts.

There will be NO doubts.

Saints 38 Panthers 10

Could it be?

Okay, consider the source...John Clayton. But I admit to laughing out loud and being grateful I didn't have a spoutfull of Diet Pepsi.

New Orleans is the one NFC South team I could possibly see having an interest in Moss. The Saints have shown a willingness to let guys revive their careers in New Orleans (see Jeremy Shockey and Jonathan Vilma) in the past. Drew Brees owns that locker room and is powerful enough that he wouldn't be pushed around by Moss.

Here we go!

------------------------------------------------------------------------

NY Jets @ Detroit -Jets 21 Detroit 28

Tampa Bay @ Atlanta - Yucs 17 Foulclowns 24

San Diego @ Houston - Sandy Eggos 17 Texans 24

Miami @ Baltimore - Dolphins 17 Baltimore 13

Arizona @ Minnesota - Cards 24 The guys with sperms on the sides of their helmets 13<<<<ROFL!!!!

Chicago @ Buffalo - Chicago 13 (that could be points or QB sacks allowed, by the way ) Buffalo 17

^^Yep^^

New England @ Cleveland - Patsies 31 Brown Stains 17

NY Giants @ Seattle -Giants 13 Seaturkeys 10

^^Both teams are loathed by Ray. Ray don't like either one.^^

Indianapolis @ Philadelphia -Indy 31 Philly 13

^^Yup^^

Kansas City @ Oakland - KC 24 RAY-DUHS 27

^^I see an upset too.^^

My Game (Ya know who I'm pickin' so shuddup)SNF: Dallas @ Green Bay - Seein' as the pigSKINS signed "Duh"Marcus Russell JJ shold hire McRib....I mean McNabb Dallas 24 GB 17

MNF: Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati - Pittsburgh 31 Cincinnati 17

^^Yup^^

New Orleans @ Carolina - The bloodbath of the week will be here... Irreguardless what's said of Dallas

Saints 43 Panthers 3

Dallas needs a QB. I wouldn't mind it being McNabb as I'd like to give the proverbial finger to the Eagles. Put McNabb on a squad with as much talent outside as Dallas and things' change in a hurry.

God Bless, Ray

I guess Farve really was the DIAT. Can we use that as evidence to get him retired finally?

See Goodell, It really was him! His whole team has sperm on their helmets.

God Bless, Ray

Sorry, I grew up in New Orleans, and Atlanta is our arch-nemesis city. They keep claiming to be the best city in the southeast, and we know they're wrong.

Oh, and we HATE their football team. A lot.

One more thing, we have one of these:

...and all the players on our team last year got one of these:

...and y'all DON'T.

(...you do realize this is all in good fun and while I really DON'T like the Falcons, it's nothing personal...and I've had a great time hangin' out in the ATL with friends many times... )

You speak the truth. I was at the game in St. Louis last week...worst offense in the NFL, without question. No idea how you go from 12-4 to Division II in 2 seasons.

He looks like Steve Martin after spending too many nights at the Golden Corral buffet, and he's about to drop dead of a coronary. And no, Matt Ryan is NOT cool, being a Boston College product, he's incapable of such.

LSU won.

The Saints took a trip to cHarlotte and punched the Panthers in the face. Repeatedly.

It was indeed a great weekend.
