Seriously though....Here's hoping this helps reignite Roscoe's guitar business!
A killer top, first rate build, quality electronics. All that's needed is a headstock mounted mirror so the lead guy can watch himself play....
O yeah............BLACK HARDWARE!
....Wha'...I'm iust kidding. |

FYI:
The neck is already in existence, it is a mahogany neck w/matching headstock, Brazilian (YES, Brazilian :cool) rosewood fingerboard w/oval inlays.
If he's picky, he can get his nose in on pickup selection to some degree, it's going to have to be a pair of humbuckers, we're thinking SD Antiquities with the nickel covers, nickel hardware on this one...

I will, of course, be showing him pictures of this one, though.

Who knows Brian, if the guitars are a hit maybe Keith's cost on lumber lessens being able to buy more, and BLAM! Same great Roscoe BASS with a slightly smaller pricetag????
Maybe I'm dreaming, but anything's possible right?
God Bless, Ray

I could definitely see one of the more traditional double cut style Roscoe guitars with dual humbuckers in my home studio. I've already got a Strat so a LP style guitar would round things out nicely and would be real cool. |

...that said, these are going to be "Limited Editions", in the sense that these are bodies, and some necks, that have been here in the shop partially finished for some time (think 10-12 years), and we are going to do one or two a month until they are gone. Then, we will no longer be doing the three body styles (LP, "dinky" Strat, Firebird) you will be seeing here in the coming months.
In the upcoming months, we are also going to be working on completing the R&D on our "real" guitar, which will be a guitar based on the LG body. This one will be available in both a custom version with a set neck and a carved top, as well as a "standard" version with a non-carved top and bolt-on neck. The set neck will be priced somewhere similar to our Custom bass line 5 string, the bolt-on will be priced similar to a Standard 5 string - but these are distant estimates so far, until we actually have the production versions worked out, we do not have any solid pricing yet.
The guitar line will NOT affect anything about the bass line - keep in mind that the Roscoe GUITAR existed far before the bass, and was directly responsible for the bass existing in the first place - so, let's keep that in mind, and try to get our guitar brothers to join the family, once things get moving!
