Indeed I was - in that very band, in fact. Hope Atlanta was as good to you as it was to me! Good luck in the RoK - I won't be back there, retirement is calling my name

I am indeed going to my last assignment with the 2ID Band. They are letting you take your families now, so be a great last gig before we retire in the Philippines. I have already sent the supply gurus at 2ID a link so that band can find and buy a Roscoe (so I don't have to play mine at work). Leave a Roscoe for every bassist that replaces me has been my policy for years...

The tone cut right through, out to a fairly large concert hall (including a balcony), played through a MarkBass LM II combo/stack (1x12 and 2x10). No DI box used. It was a pleasure to play!
I think I was taking my solo on The Chicken here.
Here's the bass: LG3000 #5742 (Jan 2008)

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Oct 2001 Location: Niagara Falls, ON, Canada | | We had a GTA Talkbass GTG in Toronto this afternoon, with 3 Roscoes in attendance: my SKB 3005, the_hook's Century Standard 4 and Fishheadjoe's LG3000. Surprisingly a pretty varied bunch at least in terms of electronics with Nordstrand DC5/Audere, Bart CB/NTMB and Roscoe Bartolini/NTMB respectively. A pretty good Roscoe showing for around 10 people!
All of them sounded great, as you'd expect, though the Century Standard got much love for its tone from everyone. It certainly has me wondering about swapping out my Nordstrands for some Bart CBs but I think I need to hear them with the NTMB first to make a fair comparison.
Other really cool gear on hand today (at least to me) was a '64 P-bass, fEARful 15/6/1 cab, super cool shortscale bass by Grant Bass.
Photos!
