The official Roscoe Beer Snob Thread

Well, after chatting with old friends and making new ones, I thought we could dedicate a thread to our favorite beers. This way we don't totally derail some poor sap's build tread with talk of hops, barleys, boobs, Monty Python, Big Lembowski, and so on...!

I love all types of beer, except some of the 'Winter Berry Ale' or 'Holiday Nutmeg Lager'; not happening for me. I especially like IPA's.

So, c'mon brothas in Roscoe Land, what say you??

Edit- This IS the place for derailing and tomfoolery in general, with some mention of our favorite suds, what food/ sporting events go best with beer, yada yada yada.

You must not know where exactly I live. Around here, I count myself lucky if I can find Blue Moon.

Never seen that in dark before, love the pale wheat version.

Here's it's much less expensive than Blue Moon too(never mind tasting much better), which I can't drink anymore anyway.

Well, I'm no snob but I'm curious as to what to try next. Subscribed.

And FWIW, here's my favorite (tho' I prefer it on tap):

Bipslapper, the eagles have landed! Dude, you out did yourself, thanks bro!

I have only tried the Indie Pale ale and the grey lady. The Indie pale ale has a nice mellow hop presence with good carbonation. Very crisp and drinkable. The Grey Lady reminds me of a fruit sour. A big black pepper hit up front with a quick change to lemon. For a low ABV beer, it keeps growing the longer it sits, Nice!

Some of us have been doing it informally (have at it boys) but whattya say we get a beer exchange program going? Buddy up and exchange favorite brews. Thoughts?
