I missed out on a trans-black 3007 a while back on Bassgear (same one that's on the site), and I'm still kicking myself over that one. Does anyone here have a 3007 that they're thinking of selling, or know of a pre-owned one for sale somewhere?
By the way, I'm from Winston-Salem, so part of my reason for looking at Roscoe is I like to buy from local companies whenever I can! |

Best fretted bass I've ever played was an SKB3007 with a cocobolo top that was at Bass Central back in 02 or 03. Man, that was wicked.

Er...dude...you should know better....
String spacing for our basses:
4 string: 19 mm @ bridge
5 string: 18.15 mm @ bridge
6 string: 18.30 mm @ bridge
7 string: 16.50 mm @ bridge
On the 5-7 string basses, we do offer "wide" spacing, i.e. 19 mm, for a retail charge of $350. Quote: |

nosajwp, feel free to PM me any time with any questions, and if you want to drive over to check things out, please just let me know when!

| | | | I've been playing my SKB-3007 for over 3 years now.
It is the most fantastic instrument I have ever played.
It's sound has actually brought me to tears while playing.
My Roscoe's body is half burl maple top, half spanish cedar back, with a birds-eye maple fingerboard, and maple/purple heart neck. Bartolini electronics.
With regards to the string spacing, which I consider perfect,
keep in mind a wider spacing will make muting the strings more difficult. And reaching to play both low B and high F simultaneously with the picking hand will be more of a stretch. |

And a (getting rid of the roman numerals here) C7+19 would be SO
If any one of the "irons in the fire" come through, this will be my congratulatory gift to myself.
(Geez - since the For Sale forum has gone up here, I've forgotten about bassgear...thanks for the "tickle.")

The spacing is the perfect compromise for me. I can still slap. But I don't have to kill my left hand trying to play chords. The B string is awesome. It is a Quilt MAple top with Spanish Cedar body, Maple Fretboard, Maple and Purpleheart neck, Bartolini electronics.

If you ever decide you want to part ways with it... | I wouldn't count on that happening anytime soon. You would do better on ebay.
