My wife won't come near me because I have been drooling like a St. Bernard all day; I certainly can't focus on mundane things like work! I am crawling out of my skin with anticipation. How have other people handled the excruciating emotional stress of a four day wait? There really should be a disclaimer when you buy one of these things... |

Congrats, and good luck with the anticipation.

You certainly chose the right brand and dealer so Just kick back and enjoy the wait!
I'm with Joel though. 4 days compared to 3-9 month build time is a piece of cake! |

I knew that folks who had ordered custom would come in and give me the what for. I suppose I deserve that :-)
Joe... the bass I ordered is right here. |

I was a bit wary about the mac ebony fingerboard, though, as I live in a pretty dry state. It just looks soooo great against the orange tones of the body. Plus, I just love the feel of ebony under my fingers.
On that subject, does anybody have any tips for keeping the fingerboard conditioned in a dry climate? |

It will be a lifetime supply, just wipe it on the board, let it sit for a minute, wipe it back off, maybe 2-3 times a year (you'll know when the 'board gets to looking a bit "dry" that it's time).

Just remember that a LITTLE goes a long way! 1-2 drops is probably enough to do an entire fingerboard.

I have been playing her for the last 7 hours and I'm just barely scratching the surface of the tone heaven that awaits. Keith and Co. make truly amazing instruments. Thanks! |
