SKB looks better.

Don't you have to go through a dealer to get one?

Pickup placement and pickup options are the only difference I can see other than body shape.

I spoke the JPJ at BlueberryHill and I think he told me about 6 months but I prefer a longer wait as it is easier for me to pay for it. If I am going to do it, "I AM GOING TO REALLY DO IT", nicer bass= more money= longer wait for me.

For more information on the difference between the LG and the SKB, you should check out the "sticky" in this forum on body shapes. However, the fast answer is that there is no real difference between the models other than body shape and pickup arrangement. Both models are build by the same people in the same shop using the same woods. I'll send you a PM regarding wait times.

Sly,
From personal experience I can say that the wait time is determined by what slots the dealer you choose currently has available in the queue. The right slot could get you a custom ordered Roscoe as soon as ~2 months ......the wrong slot could take up to a year or so

Of course the hardest part of the wait is the last 2 weeks!

sly, the answers are pretty much covered, and fairly accurate. I don't hear a LOT of difference between the body shapes, so I always recommend that players go with the one that is most pleasing to them ergonomically first then asthetically second.

As for wait times, they can vary, depending on which dealer you work with and what they have available for production slots. If they have a slot available that doesn't already have something moving forward, they can "juggle" a bit and get one sooner than later. However, I usually recommend everyone that is considering a new order to be prepared for a 6-8 month wait.
