|  | Registered User | | | | | Preamp question: what Bart rig was Keith using in 2007? I ask because I may be buying a Bartolini rig removed from a 2007 SKB-3006, whose owner replaced it with a Nordie. Many thanks in advance.

| | Registered User General Manager, Roscoe Guitars | | Join Date: Mar 2000 Location: Greensboro, NC, USA | | | The Bart preamp has been the same for almost 20 years now: NTMB 3-band, push/pull on the mids allow you to cut/boost two different frequencies (400, 800), trim pot in cavity is for adjusting the gain on the preamp.

Thanks for the info. | The only switch made was that the Bart 3-band, formerly optional, became standard. Quite a few of the older Roscoe's still had then optional Bart 3-Band. |

Not sure why (my memory...), but I had the impression the mids were selectable @ 250hz & 800hz. Gard, could I trouble you to confirm the 400hz lower frequency? |

I think the reason I was confused is that I very, very....very rarely ever touch the mids. "Flat & centered" on a Roscoe just sounds so right to my ears.
