would a roscoe double bag perform correctly with only 1 LG in it?
i've never owned a double bag and unsure if the center divider is structurally reinforced (to keep the divider from 'falling' to the other side and making the bag effectively twice the depth and too loose to hold 1 bass snugly)
a second question:
with the angled headstock of my LG, i like the idea of a neck support similar to the hardshell case concept--do the Incase slimbag or the Protec models mentioned in other threads here have neck support? would the answer to previous question apply to these bags as well?
thanks for any help guys, i appreciate whatever you can tell me about this
the hardshell is a great case, i just need something more comfortable to carry and something that i can slip into the car between seats a bit easier with less hard edges to catch the seats
fwiw, i don't need a lot of storage pocket room, just enough for truss wrench, set of strings and occasionally my tascam dr-1 recorder

As for the neck support issue, based on my experience, while it is nice, it is not that necessary. I've used a bag that is the exact same design for almost 10 years now, and never had an issue with the neck in the bag.
Works great for the "behind the front seat of the car" location, and does have some good storage, if necessary.
The other bags are excellent as well...we looked at the ProTec Contego, but I was just not THAT impressed with it, then when we saw the bag we use now, I was done looking.

I've used the Roscoe Dub bag for a couple of years (I actually have the proto-type Roscoe Dub bag) and it works great whether I bring one or two basses. It's not as stiff as my former Incase single or Dub bag but I've had no issues what so ever while using it.
Quite honestly, while the Incase bag is real nice, it's about as bulky (and stiff) as the former Roscoe Modern and other soft cases. The new Roscoe bag is much easier to carry around. |

I'm currently using one of the Low End bags...which isn't bad, but it's a tight fit for two instruments, and the straps aren't really suited to carrying the weight comfortably. |

I'm using the Roscoe double bag for one year now and most of the time to carry only my LG.
It works very well, is very protective, not too heavy and has plenty of spare room for accessories.
And also, it is beautiful and have a distinctive look.
To be very pointy, I wjust wish the shoulder strap were wider and had a little bit more padding "a la" Warwick Rockbag. Carrying two basses can be very heavy and putting those sliding padding at the right place can be difficult.
Regards
