Remember that little amp at the GTG in June?

Who had that killer little amp at Gard's house last June?

That was my good friend Brooke Frischemeier, this was the amp:

Pretty cool amp, if you got the scratch for it.

Thanks.

I'm not really looking, but something I was reading the other day made me think about and I couldn't remember what it was and it was bugging me a bit.

I'd have the scratch for it if I quit buying certain basses.... ;-)

The amp was secondary to Brooke bringing the pulled pork.

One of the many good things about living in NC: Brooke lives here, and his cooking is consistently that good.

I don't even remember that amp. At all. Probably because I was outside drinking beer most of the day.........(and yes, I drank stuff that even Gard approved of as beer, not just Bud Light........mainly due to the fact that Greg and I destroyed the 12 pack of Bud Light in like an hour)

It ALMOST sounded as loud/good as that big Aguilar rig. Killer little combo.

Proof that BL is not even a "beer-like substance". Six actual beers in an hour would put you out like a light.

Fair enough.

Let's do this:

I'll drink (choke down, actually) 6 of your BL's in one hours time; you drink 6 of my "typical" beers.

Then we'll see who's awesomeness is underestimated.

What do you mean "choke down"? BL is nothing more than beer flavored water. I'd have a harder time chugging Gatorade. 😋

I'd put one of my fav's, Mikkeller's I Beat YoU imperial IPA (9.75 ABV, 120 IBU) up against a six of BL. You need a freak'n knife and fork to get through that one. I had a 14% IIPA in Savannah once that after each sip I needed another beer chaser!

I was referring to the "taste" of BL by the way...and, I'll see your 14% IPA and raise you my:

...that's right - 16 hops, 16 malts, and SIXTEEN PERCENT ABV.

...boom.

Bet them BL lightweights couldn't get through half of that bottle before they fell over...

If you're an IPA guy, you NEED to have a layover here in GSO soon, I found a bourbon barrel aged IPA yesterday on tap at a great restaurant....it was delicious, and I don't like IPA's!

Wow, 16%. Unfortunately, the hillbillies in the Georgia Legislature won't allow anything over 14%. Hence, why that IPA in Savannah was 14 or, why they said it was.

I've been dying to try BrewDog's The End of History which comes in at an astonishing 55% ABV and a belt-busting 1650 calories but, even if the state government allowed it I don't know if I could drink a beer that costs the same as a Roscoe.

I've been trying to get a GSO layover every month since October. But, for some reason they have decreased our layovers and the ones we do have have been going very senior for some reason. The 30-hour layovers are completely gone. So, it's not like I have been trying to avoid y'all.
