Rockin' my LG at Antone's - Austin, TX

Sorry I couldn't just throw these in the thread - the Photographer has them protected from downloading!

Still, she's a fantastic picture-taking lady, and got some nice shots of my beloved fretless beauty

Check it out

PS: Even though I wasn't too happy with my performance that night, my face pretty much always looks like that when I'm playing

Thanks, guys!

The sad part is, I bought this lovely bass new last October... And it took me THIS LONG to get some good pictures of it!

I'm so ashamed...

Austin Is one killer town for music. I just wish the Armadillo World Headquarters hadn't been turned into a parking lot.

Nice pics & cool gig to be playing that fine bass.

Yeah, Valerie rocks! I hate every picture ever taken of me, but I thought these turned out pretty good. I love the way she caught the bass.

It was really cool to be on the stage instead of in the crowd at this place.. I've always wanted the chance to play there. Of course, I was the only guy there playing a Roscoe, which I like. Helps me stand out in a sea of Jazzes and P's. The FOH guy is also a bassist, he really dug the tone of the Roscoe and how easy it was to dial in. He told me that he usually has to tweak the crap out of active basses to get them to sound decent out front, but the Roscoe needed nothing.

Hear that, haters? A boutique bass that kills in the real world!

Maybe we can throw one of these pics on the Roscoe site when I get my endorsement! Haha

I'll talk to her about that. I can buy the photos straight-up if I want them, and that's probably what I'm gonna do. After all, it's not every day that someone gets a picture of me that doesn't make me want to vomit!

Thanks for the comments on the bass, guys.

I will take this one to the grave with me, I think. As I mentioned, I got her brand new last October, and she's been my number 1 ever since. She's seen a lot of basses come and go (3 Fenders, an Elrick NJS5, a Modulus Q5, Lakland JO5 & two 55-02's, an SX PJ, 2 Warwicks, etc...).

In fact, out of my entire setup, only this bass and my Aguilar DB750 have survived the last year or so. Everything else has been an expensive (with the exception of the SX) case of trial and error!

Now, I'm down to two amazing Roscoes, with one on the way... I couldn't be happier. It took me a lot of time (and money) to figure out what was right for me.. But I had no idea that my favorite fretless and fretted bass would be from the same builder.

I'd put these up against anything out there, at any price.
