Roscoe 5764

Jebmd had a moment of weakness and sold me his LG 3005 #5764. I am definitely digging it. Those that know me, know I have owned a TON of basses over the years. Just never a Roscoe. I have played a number of SKBs and Century basses but never spent much time with an LG. I had a chance to spend some time with an LG Standard about a month ago and really fell in love with it. Jebmd knew I was on the hunt and had pity on me. He will never get it back now!

Some pics from when it was new..which it is still in as new condition.

Very nice, rodneyat! I love the sapwood running down the middle of the bass body.

I, like yourself, am an LG fan. They just feel right to me.

You better get those ball ends aligned, otherwise you're in for some razzin'!

Those strings are not even on the bass...I actually have a set of Sadowsky XL Black Nickels on there that work really well. Ball ends all straight.

She is a great bass indeed and I would have never gotten rid of her if I wasn't on such a 6er kick now. Welcome to the Roscoe fold Brother, and enjoy the ride. The only thing you need to do now in square away those ball ends.

That's a great looking Roscoe Rodney!

I can't believe that Jerry let you snatch that one!

Welcome to the Roscoehead club!

Rodney, Now you'll have to bring your LG to the Middle Georgia GTG April 16th

I've seen you own lots of high end basses, and all I'll say is prepare to own nothing but Roscoes.

Congrats man! Hope I can meet ya in April if you're free.

God Bless, Ray

Still haunts me in my dreams, or nightmares of letting that one go. Guess I'll have to hunt a new one.
