Roscoe Club in the TB "Basses" Forum

Since our days here are numbered I figured that I'd start a Roscoe Club Thread in the TB "Basses" forum.

Here's the link:

Roscoe Club

Hopefully between threads like that and Greg's "Rocket Music" forum we can all stay in touch.

Joe, thank you so much for thinking of that and doing it. I can't (for obvious reasons), but I CAN participate there, and WILL.

I really appreciate the thought!

...shutting this place down, even temporarily, is really breaking my heart....

Yeah, everyone please feel free to continue the goings-on in my forum while this one takes a (hopefully short) break!

Gard and I (and anyone else who sells bass gear) are bound by various forum rules, we can't always freely express our gear preferences in the public areas. We have a lot more fun and can be more explicit about our opinions here in the "sponsored" area(s). FWIW.

^that. Every bit of it. Thanks, Greg.

I may even eventually forgive the "lesson" incident.

Awesome Greg! Your forum has always been a Roscoe friendly forum. Much like a home away from home!

Maybe we can even start a sound clip thread expanded to include sound clips recorded by players that purchased basses from you (not just Roscoe but Lull, Suhr, G&L ......).

I mentioned it in the "more news" thread too, but if there are any threads that you guys want to keep alive while this forum is down, I can move whatever you want to Greg's forum (Soundclips thread, maybe?)

This is mainly directed at Greg, since it is his forum!

Hey, Ryan - you're welcome to move anything you like. Sound clips thread(s), photo threads(s), Billie-Ray thread, any personal bass threads... whatever you or anybody else thinks should continue to be active...

Of course, that's assuming that Gard is cool with that. We'll certainly want to move the stuff back when the Roscoe forum comes back online, too, so maybe keep a list of what you move?

Wow.

Greg, that is beyond cool for you to "host" stuff. Ryan, thanks for offering to do that as well, very cool indeed, guys!

Yep, I can leave "permanent redirects" on any threads I move, so as long as Paul keeps all data intact on the forum, as soon as they go back online with the Roscoe forum, I can move em back.

So, does anyone have any threads they want me to move over there so we can keep em going?

OK guys, I moved a few of the bigger threads from the first few pages of this forum over to Greg's Rocket Music forum---I added "(from Roscoe Forum)" to the titles.

If ANYONE has any other threads from here that they want to see continued over there while this forum is on hiatus, let me know, like, ASAP.

I will, of course, move them back once this forum comes back.

Guys, while you are moving stuff (very cool indeed of Greg and Ryan), any way you can move some of Greg, Jerry, Jon's, etc..., bass chops into my account so I can get better through osmosis? Just curious.

Already tried that for myself, Pete. It didn't work.
