OK, now THAT'S funny!!!

...the only thing that would make it better is if you'd said:

"I'd be on this like Gard on an all you can eat/drink sushi/TurboDog buffet at a Super Bowl party this coming weekend, if I had the scratch."

Now, THAT would have been perfect.

Are you saying you'd say no, if it weren't the Superbowl, I think not!

Oh no, not at all, I was just saying that to go from "very good" to "perfect" you should add that one thing in.

I'd buy it -but then I'd resell it (35" scale) at a higher price.

Only problem is that I'd need to use my son's next college payment to do it...

(Reminds me of the conversation from The Flintstones...

Wilma: "Fred, the baby's college fund money is missing. Did you take it?"

Fred: "Yes I did! So what! If he wants to go to college, he can wait on tables!"

By the way, whatever happened to that mindset?)

You know I am told by a local TB'er that this Roscoe is STILL there at the Atlanta Guitar Center. He went by there last week and asked about it and the saleman stated that the bass was still in the back of the store. After checking, he was informed that it was on layaway for a measly $100.

Amazing! Only Guitar Center would but a nice bass like that on layaway for over 6 weeks for $100.
I'm sure it could have been sold several times by now!
