Well, got a chance to play this thing last night at church and then for about 2 1/2 hours at home. What a monster! Killer playability and feel for a 6'r. Spacing is great for slapping and the body hangs just right when strapped on so that the 35in scale feels like a 34

Very even all the way up and down the neck. Neck Body Joint is super too...no gaps!
The tone is very, very focused and even. The bass has the Aguilar OBP-1 boost only 2 band installed. Then mids are very punchy but not harsh when rolled to the back pickup via fingerstyle. Slap sounds great with a bit of the Treble increased and pups apnned center...although I'm finding the Aguilar to be a bit noisy. Seems to be a bit of static present when even boosted a little. Also there is a bit of noise from the pre, even when it is not being played...kinda like a fluttering sound. I'm going to change the batteries and hope that goes away. Otherwise I may go either a Bart pre or even contact Jim Williams Audio upgrades.
All-in all this is a fine bass in tone, playability and the Vintage Bodystyle just gives it a really cool vibe!
She's Sweet!
