Roscoe Japan LTD

Roscoe owner #5650 here. I recently moved to Japan and noticed Roscoes over here called LTD Japan models. Many have of the necks have different fret inlays than I've seen before. Is there a Japanese roscoe company? Are these basses different than ones in the states? What gives? Also my obligatory photo included.

Gard's a bit busy today (GTG in Georgia) but I can tell you that Roscoe makes (or made) regular batches of Roscoe's (in Greensboro) for a specific Japan importer. These basses do typically have unique options that aren't typically available in the US (available due to them being purchased in large batches). Japan actually had some of the first JJ Roscoe's.

Same awesome Roscoe quality though and made by the same elves in Greensboro NC.

Snag one or two while you're over there!

Now excuse me while I head out the Georgia GTG!
