I'm pretty fond of the Ommegang stuff I've had as well.
Ahhh yes, one of the few stouts I enjoy!

Anything made by monks hundreds of years ago gots to be good!

I am toying with the idea of having a beer cellar myself. I'm just afraid it will turn into "the place I used to keep the beer I just drank".

Yeah, it's tough to pretend it's not there sometimes, but it can be done. Some of these beers taste way better after a year or two to mellow out. I find that especially true of the Rochefort and Koningshoeven Quadrupel.

I like my Bud Light fresh. No skunky beer for me. It does taste best when it comes out of the beer fridge in my garage.

For the record I have no idea how this tastes, but at 6.2% you won't need to taste much.

It's a very fine beer. A very pronounced coffee flavor without the grinds. Their Moose Drool Brown ale is tasty too.

It's got enough coffee flavor to wake you up!
I Like Terrapin's stuff, but I didn't realize they made a stout. I'm guessing it's seasonal?

Pairs up nicely with Italian food.

Oh and to bring this back OT, here is a photo of my Roscoe (yes I know it's dirty) with the proper ball end alignment.

We should've hung both side by side.

DAMN those are great pics man! Of course when the subject matter is so exquisite... The guys at Roscoe really killed it on this fretless!!! The craftsmanship and artistry are clearly evident on the build...and the TONE! This beauty is SO well-balanced from the bottom to the top it is crazy. Talk about a fantastic instrument. Ask Pacman...he'll attest.

In fact...I need to stop typing and get back to practicing so I can try to deserve this bass...it will be a lifelong quest and one I will enjoy VERY much.

Custom strap made by Bob Schell of Brookwood Leathers out of PA. Handmade quality on par with Roscoe craftsmanship. Only the best for my Roscoe!

I'm a fellow leathersmith, and I know Bob quite well. VERY nice gentleman and generous with his knowledge.

Over the last few days I've put fresh Lo-Riders and ProCells on/in each bass. Must mean picture time, right?

J-Dogs ready to howl at the full moon.

Devil and Angel.

Fertile Myrtle stands alone. As much as I love all of my Roscoes, this one remains my favorite. In specs and look, it just says, "ROSCOE," to me.

Everybody squeeze together for one last shot...

For any fellow nerds...
Nikon D90 & 18-200mm lens, aperture mode, ISO 1250. (AKA...I was too lazy to set up the lights.)
