This bass looks killer! I bet it sounds as good as it looks! The fingerboard matching the top wood is so beautiful!
Thanks! |

I'm thinking my next bass will be a Roscoe, and there's a 90% chance it will be a replica of that one.
... or if you happen to have the address of the owner... |

Apparently all Ziracote basses have to have a 12th fret market, eh Gard?

Everyone be nice to the Gardfather. For those not familiar, he had a pretty demanding year so we Roscoeheads obviously have the beaucoup respect grande for this cool and dedicated guy!
Anyone jonesin’ for the last bass they'll ever play needs to come over to Greensboro and. . . oh, never mind. If you know then you know, and if you don't know you best come find out about one of the top world-class luthiers!

Here's a better shot of the flame detail of that bass--totally stunning if you're into wood combos! This bass looked like a million bucks before it was ever completed.

It's an SKB 5 that is now in Austria. The owner saw the SKB 6 in the first pic and requested a 5 string version of it.

Whoa! You're right! The grain doesn't match up between pics!
So the same guy has BOTH of these? Did you make a "batch" of this top so that he got consecutive cuts? Are the two basses "family" so to speak?

The 6 INSPIRED the order for the 5, and we were able to get very close with it.
