I'd be a fan if there was a Roscoe group on there!

Sorry for wearing the wrong bass on my main pic there...
It's not difficult setting up a group page - I've done it for a truck site as well as a DSLR photography site. Probably best to have one of the Roscoenians do the work, or at least make sure Gard or someone else is active on Facebook so he/they can be admins. |

How do I set up a musician page? That's a great idea.

Please give me a ping once you're up and running...I'll become a fan in a heartbeat. |

Quick background.... Did a trio hit earlier this month down in Santa Cruz. Old buddy of the keyboard player is a videographer...and by the looks of it, a talented one. He spent the first two sets with camera-in-hand, meaning the rest of us did our best to hold in our guts, try to look artistic, and try not to puke on the changes. We received one request the whole night, from the keyboardist's aunt, no less, so guess what tune the video guy decides to publish first? You guessed it... Girl with Emphysema
The audio feed is from the keyboardist's M-Audio Microtrack 24/96 (just like mine), which was positioned low - directly in front of and about 6' away from the bass cabinet. The Roscoe is running through a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0-12T. Enjoy, cringe, throw tomatoes...I fully understand no matter what. |

Sorry about that...I'll check with the fellow that posted it. (I'm hoping to get my hands on his video files, but that may not happen until next week.) |

I was wondering if I should make some sort of Roscoe Head logo that each person could paste his pic into just to let everyone know what we're all about. Yay or Nay?? |

For non-FB members, here's a link to the video mentioned above: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lSZuR1NNyU
Ignore the bassist, but revel in the beauty of the Roscoe! The fertile myrtle looks mighty fine, even on youtube. FYI, I've also posted the video on my Facebook musician page. It's being "processed" right now, but should be available soon. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jerry-...k/114174555471
Speaking of musician pages, let's share links & become fans - that way we can keep abreast of gigs and other news. What say? |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Encinitas California | | | Yeah.. I was able to upload the songs, No one will have any ability to play them until they verify my ID. I like Crash Clint's idea for a Roscoe Head site. It might be better to create a separate, custom site using a decent service with several gigs of space so everyone could upload their latest and greatest. I could provide the Layout graphics and any flash animations that may be needed. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
