Serial numbers

I recently purchased my first roscoe bass (skb3006) its amazing and i love the tone

im sure the questions been asked a billion times on the forum, but is there a way to tell the year the instument was made from the Serial numbers?

There is no specific pattern, as the numbers are just consecutive in production or ordering.

If you tell me the number, I will be happy to let you know if we have it in our system (anything before 5000 is uncertain), or at least give you a good "educated guess" as to when it was completed.

mines 4205 any idea on when it was made? thanks a ton man and awesome bass, im actullay goin to sale my warwick streamer this week cause i dont even wanna play it anymore after gettin my skb3006

The best guess we can make based on your serial number will be in the time from about '99 to '01. I did check our database, and came up empty...
