... and NC is (sorta) on the way from CA to NJ ...
... and there's a strong possibility that I may have some good luck job-wise coming up and maybe pick up something nice for Mrs F (who is a better bassist than me) to thank her for the support ...
... and I was wondering if Roscoe did shop visits and semi-custom "pick your wood" builds ... ?
(And if the answer's "not normally", what if I brought a couple of kegs of homebrew?)

Anything but Bud light! Of course the Bud Light can be used to work the Rocket man down a bit on price!
Good luck and have fun! Of course it could take days to go through all of the wood in stock! |

...yeah, we're happy to have you stop in, and picking out woods for a custom build is not my job, it's what I like to do for fun!
The rest of that stuff won't hurt any, either, but it's not necessary...

| Neither is necessary, but either will be greatly appreciated!
Seriously, just show up, we'll hit either the local brewpub (Natty Greene's, very good food, excellent beer), or the joint Pete mentioned, that has pretty decent pizza and a solid beer list.

I shipped the bass to the Roscoe shop and went to visit the shop to pick up my bass. I got a very nice "tour" of the shop and even took a couple of pictures of me with the bass and Keith. I took lots of pictures; I'd have to look for them. I just remember all this beautiful wood in different steps of being made into future great basses. There was everything from a tree trunk to Roscoes ready to be shipped and EVERYTHING in between. Oh yeah, and everything other than the newly finished Roscoes had saw dust on it.
This was prior to Gard working for Roscoe Guitars, but I'm sure he'd make you feel real comfortable. |

2nd interview (well, about the 4th if you include the phone screens) seemed to go well. If it comes off, I'll be there.

One side benfit of the new building? It came with a full size fridge! 12 bottles of Bud Light went in first thing for after these long hard days of demolition work. Mmm, mmm, good. |

Mmm, mmm, good. | Yeah, it is an inexpensive thirst quencher. Every time it rains you just need to leave the empty bottles outside to fill-up, reinstall the the bottle cap and you are ready for another day of hard work.
At least put some Natural Light in there.
