SKB-3006 with Wenge Board?

I have got my eye on a used Roscoe SKB-3006 with a wenge fingerboard, a spanish cedar body, and a koa top. I was just wondering how a bass like this would sound.

I have played an MTD 635 with a wenge board but it had a mahogany body. I really liked the tone of the bass though. How does spanish cedar and wenge sound together?

I also recently played a new Roscoe Century Signature V with a pau ferro fingerboard and a spanish cedar body and it was amazing. It was one of the best basses I've played. How does wenge compare to pau ferro?

I owned a solid one-piece spalted maple 3005 with a wenge finger board. That bass had a nice old school sound and was a bit brighter sounding than my other Roscoe Spanish cedar basses. Personally I think the solid maple body contributed more to the sound of that bass than the wenge finger board. The Roscoe FB's are fairly thin and IMO don't drastically affect the sound. Although I always felt that it compressed the tone some.
Halftooth has a 3006 with the wenge finger board. Maybe he'll chime in with his thoughts........
