SKB Roscoes - Eye Candy from Bass Gear Direct - Australia

I think this might be my first post in the Roscoe forum
but I do browse it often for some good ol’ Roscoe stimulation and just to see what’s happening.

I thought I should post up our latest batch of SKB's we have received overhere down in Australia. I must say Keith, Gard and the Roscoe crew are a fantastic bunch of fellas and they really know how to get you drooling with these instruments.

Roscoe is still fairly new over here in Australia but really is getting a lot of attention, especially in recent times.
Checkout some of these beautiful pieces just received:

SKB-3005 Serial #6032, Exhibition Grade Flame Maple top, Roscoe Orange Finish, Swamp Ash Body, Maple Fingerboard, 3 Band Aguilar Preamp- Bartolini CB pickups,

SKB-3005 Serial #6033, Exhibition Grade Amboyna Burl top, Natural Finish, Mahogany Body, Pau Ferro Fingerboard, 3 Band Aguilar Preamp Bartolini CB pickups

SKB-3005 Serial #6064, Exhibition grade Koa top, Natural Finish, Mahogany Body, Pau Ferro Fingerboard, 3 Band Aguilar Preamp, Nordstrand DC pickups.

SKB-3006 Serial #6035, Exhibition grade quilted maple top, Black Gold Finish, Swamp Ash Body, Maple Fingerboard, 3 Band Aguilar Preamp, Bartolini CB pickups,

SKB-3006 Serial #6034, Walnut Burl top, Natural Finish, Spanish Cedar Body, Pau Ferro Fingerboard, 3 Band Aguilar Preamp, Bartolini CB pickups,

Anyway, looking forward to reading your comments and thoughts on these. Apart from the tone, like all Roscoe’s they certainly are hard to ignore visually and from a performance perspective.

Cheers,

Thx Gard and everyone else for your comments.

Yeah, these instruments are pretty exciting. My personal favourites, the Orange #6032and the Amboyna #6033 for different reasons.

Look forward to taking part in the Roscoe forum a lot more regular. These forums can be pretty addictive and then I'll never get any work done.

Great looking stock!

I'd wrastle a crocodile for one of those!

I especially like S/N 6033 & 6034.

All these basses have straight pick ups, no slants to be seen.. is this special order or have Roscoe changed things up a bit?

They're all SKB's, which don't have the slant, unless you special order one as such.

Excellent catch sir, when you visit, the first whiskey is my treat.

Do it again, and I'll make you finish the bottle!
