So close!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/290878536803...84.m1423.l2649

Me: "My dream bass just sold on ebay for $1500 - that's a really good deal"
Awesome Wife: "You should have just bought it. Your 40th birthday is coming up."

Me: "Doh!"

So if anyone has a fretless buckeye burl (preferred but not required) Roscoe they want to sell me for $1500, I have the green light.

lol

Sometimes it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission!

In your case, just asking would have been sufficient!

Maybe if you hang around Rocket Music long enough Greg will feel sorry for you and give you a killer deal on that NOS Roscoe SKB 3005 fretless.

It would have to be one killer deal. Greg's a good guy but he's not running a charity.

I'm trying to convince myself that I didn't really want an LG anyway...

Well, too late. I just gave Greg a deposit yesterday. And I'm not sad about it.

No wonder you aren't sad about it!

Awesome spec's!

All you guys getting these fretless basses made with the jazz p/u's in the JB are beginning to make me jealous!

I came real close to using that same top with your exact specs except six strings. But, I decided to go custom. Your bass is going to be killer!
