Very cool!
Of course around here, we all endorse Roscoe's!
P.S. A good guitar buddy of mine was over in Japan with the AFRES band for a couple of years (Rob Walker). And our former sax player Rick too.

Thanks guys! I'm very glad to be here!

"Don't drive that thing unless you want to buy it - because you're going to want to buy it when you're done."

Congratulations Jon. We love those military bands here in Warner Robins.
Steve,
GO FOR THE CENTURY SIX YOU'VE BEEN DEBATING OVER. You'll come out better than if you blow the gas money. |

Roscoes are awesome Basses and the folks who play 'em are top notch. Keith & Gard just raised that bar by having you as an Endorsing Artist.
Thank You!
Now Rock On!
@ Steve, If you play it you WILL want it . Sparky Spider's bite is a mean one
God Bless, Ray

It's 350 miles away. | My 2 cents; never thought I would want/need a 6 string bass, but now that I have it and it's a Roscoe (which sounds better than my other 4 and 5 string basses) it has become my "go to bass". You will want it if you look at it, let alone play it.
These necks are so comfy that the extra width is not significant at all to me and the spacing is fine. 350 miles is a long way to play one, but worth it and it's far better than getting a bass made 3000 miles away in asia
Oh yeah, welcome Pacman! I spent many hours and many quarters trying to beat you and your girlfriend "back in the day" at the arcade. Welcome to the family! |

I didn't ask specifically, but according to his web site he has a Roscoe Century Standard 6 and a bunch of other interesting basses from Roscoe and a few other builders.
I'm excited, but it could be scary...me in a place like that... |

vehicle.
Speaking of vehicles there Pacman, what did you ever end up
doing with the 'Vette, did you sell it or put it in storage?

My first Roscoe was (ah, is) a Century Standard 5 that I bought without ever trying one from G Guitars in New Haven, CT (great guys BTW). I played a SKB and LG yrs back and when I saw the Century Standard line, knew it would rock! Best of luck, and don't forget to breathe! |

Jon and I met way way way back in 1983 (gasp), in our high school's show band. Back then, Jon was a wizard on alto sax whose fame was derailed by some guy named David Sanborn. As for me, I was still fantasizing about being a drummer, and hadn't yet been spanked by dudes named Porcaro and Colaiuta. I do think we discovered the low end firm of Jaco, Jamerson, & Miller at roughly the same time, though.
Anyway, aside from being an absolutely fantastic bass player, Jon is an awfully good breed of cat. I applaud this new relationship from both sides. A win for Jon is a win for Roscoe! |

Do you remember carrying that gawdawful Fender amp home and back to practice back in the day? I remember helping you one day take it from East to West campus....good times. That kind of dedication shows through listening to your playing - you obviously wanted it, and you certainly *have* it!
Sadly, Thor, I sold the Vette. To my next door neighbor in San Antonio. For 3 months before I left for Japan, I heard him fire it up in the mornings...and I cried a little each time
This bass is making it all better!
