Standard strings

I have a new to me LG 3005 fretless. The fellow from whom I bought it didn't know what strings were strung. From the overall condition of the bass, I would guess the strings are original. So..what do they usually come strung with? Couldn't find this info on the Roscoe website.

Thanks,

Kim

Stock Roscoe strings are medium light Daddarios, they get them special without the coloured ball ends.

^Yup.

They're bulk purchased D'Addario XL Nickelwound strings, slightly different from the EXL170-5SL set (the "SL" is IMPORTANT, the non-SL sets tend to be a bit short for a 35" scale length). The differences are that the A string on our set is a bit bigger (.085 versus .080), and the B string is just a bit smaller (.125 versus ,130). The EXL170-5SL will work just fine though!

Congrats on the new (to you) bass, and welcome to the family!
