Under NC law this bass is considered stolen because the contract to purchase was not fulfilled and the bass was not returned to me therefore it has been listed as stolen with NC law enforcement departments. I want to list it here to let who ever owns or buys this bass, they are buying stolen property.

Further, this is the ROSCOE forum, and I'm the official representative of the company here, so I set policy on this kind of thing here -
Post the name, fully, so we all know who it is, and we can all keep an eye out for him.

They do they're time in a special protected ward and then get released early by liberal judges, and then the public acts shocked when the perverts do it again.. |

I just wanted to chime in. I'm the guy who bought the "stolen" Roscoe, I got it from smpugh723 (there!) from Crash's own thread! I had no reason to beleive that the bass was "stolen" specially since Crash wrote this: "Yep, the bass never made it to Henderson, it was redirected before it left my house. DannyR is getting a nice bass! Just knowing it is not here anymore makes me a little sad, but I did get one of my Dream Roscoe basses so I can't whine too much. When I am able to get an Amboyna with the bart/bart, I will have the complete tone spectrum between these two and my fretless.
Just thinking about the travels of the LG, it was brought to life in NC, played in TX, played in NC, it was played in VA and SC and now it is heading to NV. That bass has seen more of the U.S. then 70% of the people."
Then almost a year later I get an email from Crash telling me that the bass was stolen! ***
I don't know what really went down because I've only heard one side of the story...
I almost traded a Nordstrand for another Roscoe that Crash had for sale, he sent me a PM and told me that Sheldon went to his house and played that Roscoe (the one with and Alder body and Buckeye top) and it sounded great... This happened a few weeks ago and sounded like they knew each other well and were good buddies
Anyway, I only wanted to let you guys know that I had nothing to do with all this mess.

No different if you buy a car and sell it without paying the agreed terms. Yes, I talked to Sheldon, he came over to the house and I let him play the other bass. We discussed him not paying me for my bass. I gave him a timeline to pay it and he has exceeded the timeline. So regardless, the police have all the facts and the bass is now considered stolen by NC law. I was hoping Sheldon would man up and pay so I held off giving anyone's information to the police but since you just implicated yourself as buying a stolen bass it should be an easy thing to do now.
