Yeah, we don't tend to put sub-$100 stuff up on the site. There are plenty of exceptions to that rule, but we mainly list instruments and amps online. Accessories, not so much.

I'm sure that'll change at some point. When I eventually have a code monkey working here with nothing better to do than write accessory listings all day, then we'll push it more. For now, I'm the code monkey.

Yeah, 3.5" works for me. The only reason why I have 4" is because I couldn't find a 3.5 that I liked well enough.

Sounds good, Ray. And 3.5 would also work for me, but like Joel, I just never found one I liked. Tried the 4" Italias and loved em. But I could be swayed into using something else!

I've used the Comfort straps for years so anything with a similar design would work for me Ray.
I do like the somewhat tacky surface on the inside (side) of the strap that keeps it from sliding on my shoulder. It seems to offset any balance issues nicely IMO.

Other than that, a Roscoe logo whould be cool!

You're in line with Ryan and Jerry brother!

Now lets see; Where'd I put that Auburn logo?

I just bought a Medium Comfort Strapp today. I've had an idea to use leather and another material instead of nylon and neoprene.

I'm going to actually use the strap for a while to see what I like about it and where I can improve it.

Stay tooned.

How about a leather strap stuffed with something like memory foam for extra padding?

FAIL!! If it's inside, you won't be able to eat it. Put the bacon on the outside. Great for a snack in b/w tunes and sets.

I have a specific idea regarding this. I don't want to give my train of thought away in the event of utter failure and further acknowledgement (evidentiary proof) of my stupidity.

I was gonna go with bladders full of beer so you'd have to refill 'em every so often to keep the comfort level up.

God Bless, Ray

Beer & Bacon - getting paid for the gig would just be the dessert.

I'll give you my $.02.

First, I never thought about the taper at all, but now that you mention it, there's no need for the strap to be wide right there, and the corners are just kind of flapping loose, so I'd say tapered is better. No excess material.

I prefer the suede back. Yes, it pulls my shirt if I move it, but once I get the shirt and the strap where I want them, they stay put. I like that.

I don't feel any need for any need for padding on the strap. If it's 3.5" or 4" wide, and not stiff, it spreads the pressure evenly enough that it doesn't bother me.

I'll be interested to see what you come up with.
