I'd just like to thank Keith, Gard and the other fine folk we met yesterday at their shop in Greensboro for making us feel welcome and spending so much time with us. On a lark, the wife and I decided to just drop in as we were in town for the day. Well, a finer reception I can't imagine! Now I understand why everyone feels so strongly about Gard on TalkBass!
And the basses... the woods.... the Gas!!!

I am hoping I can make it down before the end of the month. Our new client is requiring a lot of time up front. They really got a raw deal from their previous management company. Their website is huge and it contains a bookstore, member database, online payments. When they left the other management company, they were being charged $1,000 a day to host their website so we had to put a lot of overtime in to get the new site up enough to reopen the bookstore and allow online payment processing for the bookstore, dues renewals and new members.
Now some of our other clients have seen how this site works and they want to convert their website over as well. I have 3 in the queue right now and one is expecting to see their website up and running by mid April. |

...how's Teddy, or should I not ask? | Unfortunately we had to put him down last Thursday. Linda stayed with him when they injected the over-dose of anesthesia. Call me a wuss, but I couldn't watch them do it, I didn't want that to be my last memory of him.
We didn't really have anywhere to bury him so we had him cremated. I found out that if you let the Vet dispose of your pet, they put them in a big refrigerator until trash day, then they wrap them in plastic and put them in the trash can. He was too good of a dog to let that happen so we paid the $110 to have him cremated. The process is the same as if he were human, they returned his remains in a nice sealed urn about the size of a quart container. So now we can bury him in the backyard. |

Yeah, I did the cremation thing myself, it just seemed "right"...
...I'm really sorry man, I just don't know what else to tell you...
