Understand the sentiment but I have gigs so locking up the other basses isn't an option. When I got the E-C 5-string I knew within an hour whether or not it was going to work even though I'd never played that configuration before. I've cycled through enough basses that I've spent some time with and not bonded with that I have a decent idea of what is going to work.
As for hand size there are other factors. I doubt she has 40+ years of accumulated sports and other injuries or a day job that is a constant RSI breeding ground. Plus she's better looking than me
And somebody will get a good deal on a Roscoe. Not sure on the downside...
