Hello team Roscoe,
The neck on my LG3005 has flattened out a good bit this summer. I'm getting a little buzzing around the 5th - 7th frets.
There is only about one thin sheet of paper's worth of relief mid-neck when pressing the strings down on both the first and last fret. When I went to loosen the truss rod a tad, it was already as far loose as it would go.
I tried tuning up a whole step and leaving the bass sit for 2 days. That didn't help at all. Raising my saddles helps, but the action is already a touch higher than I would prefer. Do I have any other options at this point besides waiting for the weather to change?
Thanks.
Unless the truss rod is a double-acting one (try loosening it more?) you are out of luck, sorry. You might try heavier strings- these will increase tension and may pull the neck a bit, but not much I'm afraid.
