Jeff Carswell is the "house" bassist for the Jaco Pastorius Big Band. He is the ruling bassist in south Florida. When he is not touring with the JPBB he can be heard playing with Randy Bernsen, jazz guitarist as well as playing upright for whatever singer or show is in town. He considers his Roscoe's to be at the center of his defining tone. Check him out at My Homepage

Nice post, Gard...I love Jeff's playing. And 'Continuum' is absolutely one of my favorite Jaco compositions. He totally does it justice while injecting his own sensibilities. Just nice.

It is too late for Lil Ray as he probably has hump marks all over his monitor now where he already got too excited.
