Solid walnut body? Why, who'd do such a crazy thing? ![]() ...oh yeah. We would. ;) Absolutely, and I recommend it - not as heavy as you'd think, and sounds fantastic. On my "short list" of basses I will own is a walnut-bodied 5 string fretted. I like it so much, here are some photos of the floor in the house the missus and I are hopefully moving into next week, after 13 months of construction: ![]() ![]() ![]() |
price ? for walnut body custom on skb 3005 model? available on custom series ? |
Not solid body. 2 piece walnut body, maple top, maple/purple/maple neck/purple FB :) I am currently doing research. maybe you specify an average price |
This bass... http://www.gelbmusic.com/p-1941-rosc...tlewalnut.aspx ...is absolutely amazing. The description nails the sound - fat, focused, cutting, sweet. I would LOVE to record with this bass. |

fwiw walnut is my favorite body wood, and one of my favorite top woods. And while we're at it, it makes a pretty nice neck too. *cough* chambered walnut body *cough* |

You could have carved it out of a solid block of wood in 13 months! |
