Absolutely, and I recommend it - not as heavy as you'd think, and sounds fantastic.
On my "short list" of basses I will own is a walnut-bodied 5 string fretted.
I like it so much, here are some photos of the floor in the house the missus and I are hopefully moving into next week, after 13 months of construction:  |

You could have carved it out of a solid block of wood in 13 months! |
