Even though Roscoe isn't directly making any money from this transaction, Gard was still nice enough to take 20 minutes or so out of his day to talk to me on Facebook, look up all the info on the bass I'm buying via the serial number, and patiently answered my barrage of stupid questions. It was a great experience. Now I just need to wait for the bass to arrive so I can start playing it.
