Just pulled the trigger on a used Roscoe SKB 3005. Even though Roscoe isn't directly making any money from this transaction, Gard was still nice enough to take 20 minutes or so out of his day to talk to me on Facebook, look up all the info on the bass I'm buying via the serial number, and patiently answered my barrage of stupid questions. It was a great experience. Now I just need to wait for the bass to arrive so I can start playing it.

I've had Gard Experiences via Bass Central and Roscoe Guitars. Gard is a prince among bass players.

My SKB 3005 arrived today. I'm in bass heaven. I think this is the first bass I've ever bought that felt like it was made for me. The other ones I just got used to! Pics to come.

Well, that's all well and good, but this statement is truly useless . . . without pics!!!
